Stunningly beautiful and very large antique Qing Chinese porcelain ginger jar in the Mille Fleur (Thousand Flowers) design. The ginger jar is marked as Qianlong Period (1736 -1797) on the bottom. The background is white and the jar is covered in large flowers of green, red, pink, blue, purple and yellow all over the jar. The design and workmanship are exquisite and the colors are wonderful. The Mille Fleur design symbolizes "all flower bestow their blessings" and first appeared in Chinese art in the late Yongzheng period.
