Vintage 3 1/2" Yup'ik Couple sculpture from pre-Soviet USSR 1967, titled "Patience." Carved from stone serpentine. The Yup'ik people are indigenous to Alaska and far northeastern Russia. The couple's embroidered clothing suggests Russian origin. Marked USSR on the bottom.
